Subject: Server Upgrades & Rollback

We have currently rolled back the Apache and PHP Updates.

We will be upgrading our server, to a new, faster, and more expandable system. This upgrade will be done over the course of about a week, starting on the 26th and completing around the 1st of August. During this time there may be periods where our customer's web sites will be unavailable while DNS propagates.

 DNS Propagation typically takes between 24 and 72 hours. We will start the swap over to the new DNS info either later Monday (the 28th) or Tuesday (the 29th) afternoon. We expect to have the upgrades complete, and all accounts migrated to the new server by the 1st of August.

Once the new server is up and runing we will continue to use the Apache 1.x series Web Server and PHP 4.x series, until we have determined that everything is stable, at this point we will consider upgrades to the software.

Subject: System Upgrades Complete

We have just finished upgrading to the newest version of PHP 5.2.x and also migrated to Apache 2.0.  Users should not see any changes in the operation of their websites, but if you have any difficulties please contact support, using the email link in the main menu.

Also we have upgraded the control panel. Users will be able to find new information and tutorials on how to work with various options of their control panel.

And remember, you can access your control panel using the following systax:

http://mydomainhere.com/cpanel/

and then use your username and password for your accound.

Amerabyte technologies is happy to announce we've upgraded the transfer bandwith on all our accounts except the gold.  

Basic accounts now start out with 10 GB,
Basic+ Accounts have 15 GB
Intermediate are now at 20 GB
and Intermediate+ are now at 25 GB.

As always additional transfer is avalible for $.50 / GB over the included account bandwidth.
